Manchester United will return to action on Sunday, March 10, against Arsenal in a defining Premier League clash to be played at the Emirates.
United come into the encounter in high spirits after their thrilling Champions League comeback against Paris Saint-Germain that saw them seal a place in the competition’s quarter finals.
The Premier League side went into the Paris trip without up to ten key squad members who were nursing different degrees of injuries.
However, the Old Trafford outfit has been boosted by the availability of Anthony Martial and Nemanja Matic ahead of their encounter with Arsenal, with the duo expected to be in contention for game time.
Martial has not featured for the Red Devils since picking up a groin injury during his side’s 2-0 defeat to PSG in the Champions League during the first leg played at Old Trafford in February.
On the other hand, Matic has been sidelined since the 2-0 win over Chelsea in the FA Cup mid-February.
Meanwhile, the duo of Romelu Lukaku and Marcus Rashford is expected to lead the attack line against the Gunners after combining perfectly against PSG.
Mason Greenwood, the academy graduate who made his senior debut against the French giants is also expected to keep his place in the squad alongside Tahith Chong.
The Ole Gunnar Solskjaer-tutored side currently sit fourth on the log with 58 points, a point above fifth-placed Arsenal.
