EMILIANO SALA REJECTED CARDIFF’S COMMERCIAL FLIGHT FOR MCKAY’S DOOMED PRIVATE PLANE

Emiliano Sala rejected a commercial flight provided by Cardiff City before opting for the doomed plane, which later claimed his life after crashing off the English Channel, according to a leaked WhatsApp messages.

Daily Mail reports that agent Willie McKay claimed that the Premier League club left Sala all-alone to arrange his flight back to Cardiff after sealing the £15m move from Nantes.

But it has now been revealed that the agent actually arranged the plane that crashed on January 21 killing the 28-year-old with the pilot still missing.

Interestingly, messages obtained by French news channel, Ouest-France, revealed that a Cardiff City official has already offered a commercial flight booking to the forward.

A snap of the flight details composed in French and Spanish showed the forward hinted agent McKay has already sorted out another flight.

He was abandoned in a hotel more or less to do his travel arrangements himself. Nobody in Cardiff seemed to be doing anything. It was a bit embarrassing for Cardiff.

They buy a player for £15m and then leave him in a hotel by himself to go on the computer and look for a flight – I think Cardiff let themselves down badly. The way they’ve acted so far, they’ve been a disgrace,” McKay was quoted as saying to the BBC on Thursday night.

Interestingly, Cardiff insist they book a commercial flight for Sala, with McKay confirming he got the ill-fated single-engine Piper PA-46 through a pilot David Henderson.

Earlier, Continentour.com.ng reported that Emiliano Sala’s body was finally laid to rest after family members, football fans, administrators and lovers of the game gathered to pay their respect to the late Cardiff City striker during his funeral ceremony in Argentina on Saturday.

According to UK Sun report, his sister Romina, found it tough to control her emotions after Sala’s remains was taken to his first club at San Martin de Progreso.
